A 35-year-old man died this Tuesday at the Festa Major in Castellar del Vallès after falling from an attraction. The young man entered the structure when the premises were closed, disobeyed the instructions of the security guards and ended up falling from a considerable height.
Municipal sources have detailed that the events occurred around four-thirty in the afternoon. He entered the fair located in the Plaza de la Fàbrica Nova, which at that time was closed to the public, and climbed to the top of an attraction of considerable height.
Shortly after falling, he was transferred in critical condition to the Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell with multiple traumas. They could do nothing to save his life.
The city council has regretted the tragic outcome and has sent its condolences to the family and friends of the victim. The activity at the fair where the events occurred was suspended due to the death.
