A woman in an irregular situation in Spain has been released after being kidnapped and raped in an apartment in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas by her partner, a 46-year-old man who has been detained by the Municipal Police, as confirmed by Efe, with sources of the local body.
It was last Saturday, around 8:10 p.m., when a patrol went to a building on Puerto de Canfranc street in the face of a possible sexist attack.
When the agents arrived at the indicated floor, the door was opened by the alleged perpetrator, who was getting dressed with the intention of leaving the house, since for him, according to what he told the police, "nothing had happened."
Both he and his partner, who was also at home, are Honduran nationals and are in an irregular situation in Spain after emigrating a few months ago.
The agents met with the woman, who told them that since her arrival in Spain her partner had taken the keys to the house, her passport, and controlled the use of her mobile phone.
In addition, he assured that he had been the victim of sexual abuse and assault by the man.
Another Honduran couple who had lived at home for a week corroborated the woman's version.
The police officers then activated the protocol in the event of possible cases of sexual assault, for which reason the experts from Samur-Civil Protection, including a psychologist, went to the place. Finally, the alleged attacker was arrested.
