A pitched battle between several squatters has left four injured in Vilafranca del Penedès. The protagonists of the fight have been arrested and there is no fear for their lives despite having suffered cuts and injuries due to the bladed weapons that they brought out in broad daylight last Tuesday.
The events took place in front of the Escola Montagut in Vilafranca del Penedès, as ElCaso.com has been able to learn, resulting in four detainees who had already been habitually pointed out for their incivility problems in some occupied basements.
A neighbor recorded the brawl in the middle of the afternoon on May 30, when these four squatters rushed into the street to attack each other with knives and other objects such as crutches, chairs and everything they could find to attack each other.
The pitched battle did not end until the police arrived with agents from the Local Police and also riot agents from the Mossos d'Esquadra to put an end to the fight that had alarmed the surrounding residents, already used to other violent situations.
At first, the Mossos arrested three individuals who had participated in the fight, but after a few minutes a fourth protagonist tried to attack a policeman, also ending up arrested for his failed attack.
At the moment, none of those injured in the fight have their lives in danger and have only suffered relatively minor injuries. The Mossos are currently investigating the reason for the fight and why they acted so violently in an environment as delicate as the entrance to a school.
