The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested in Figueres (Girona) a driver who was drunk, under the influence of drugs and, to make matters worse, without a driving license, for a crime against road safety after causing a head-on collision with another driver. car that, fortunately, did not cause any victims or serious injuries.
The driver quadruples the blood alcohol level by giving 1 mg/l of the 0.25 mg/l allowed in exhaled air. Not content with that, he also tested positive for cocaine, amphetamines and cannabis.
When the police arrived at the scene of the accident, the young man unsuccessfully tried to flee across the countryside and hid behind some bushes to avoid being discovered. In the registration and verification of data carried out by the police, they discovered that the detainee was circulating without a driving license, because he was registered as having been canceled in France due to lack of points.
The detainee, who has no criminal record, was placed on December 8 at the disposal of the investigating court on duty in Figueres.
