A 70-year-old man has died after a wall fell on him in a house in Bérchules (Granada), according to the 112 emergency coordination center.
The event occurred around 9:30 p.m. this Monday, when the Emergencies received a notice because the wall of a house located on Calle Real de Alcútar in the municipality of Granada had fallen and there was a person trapped below.
The firefighters, the Civil Guard and the health services went to the place, which certified the death of the man in the place.
As indicated by the Civil Guard, which has activated the judicial protocol to clarify the circumstances of the event, it is the wall of a corral adjacent to the house in which the deceased, owner of the house, stored belongings.
The man was apparently removing various items from the corral when the wall, which was in very poor condition, collapsed on him, according to sources.
