Thousands of people will once again fill the streets of the city of Madrid for 8M. Feminist organizations, associations and the Ministry of Equality have called for mobilization to claim that there is still much to do and achieve effective equality between men and women.

The ministry headed by Ana Redondo calls "all women" to the movement, to fight and fill the streets this Friday. "There is still much to do, that is why we have to move in that democratic direction of equality, to overcome the gaps that separate us, that divide us," explained the owner, who will join the demonstration organized by the 8M Commission.

The 8M will once again be marked by division. There will be two demonstrations in the streets of the capital. One of them is the one organized by the 8M Commission, which calls on everyone to raise their voices against sexist violence and send a clear message: "We are not going to allow even one step back in the rights achieved for everyone." .

This demonstration will leave Atocha at 7 p.m. and will culminate in the Plaza de Colón under the motto "Patriarchy, genocides, privileges."

The Madrid Feminist Movement (MFM) has also called a demonstration. In this case, he will walk the streets of the capital with the slogan "Prostitution is not a job. Abolition now!".

Among them, they call for the "erasure of women and the reactionary idea of ​​the wrong body." That is, they are against what is known as the Trans Law. This demonstration will leave Plaza de Cibeles at 7 p.m., go up Gran Vía and end in Plaza de España.
