Ter Stegen and Raphinha train with the group

Xavi Hernández has received two good news this Sunday. Marc André Ter Stegen and Raphinha have carried out part of the training with the group, so they are facing the final part of the recovery from their injuries and everything indicates that they will enter the squad list for Barça's next match against Granada on Sunday in Montjuic.

The return of the German and the Brazilian is a relief for Xavi, who in recent weeks has seen the infirmary fill up. In the match against Alavés this past Saturday, which ended with a Blaugrana victory, Gündogan gave a scare when he was substituted with back pain, but the Catalan coach confirmed that there was no injury and it was just a knock.

Ter Stegen has been out since last November due to a herniated disc in his lower back. The goalkeeper underwent surgery in December to completely resolve the discomfort in his back and in his absence Iñaki Peña has occupied the three Barça posts, conceding 32 goals in the 16 games played. The German had conceded 15 goals in 17 games until his injury.

For his part, Raphinha has overcome the injury to the femoral biceps in his left leg that he suffered in the semifinals of the Spanish Super Cup against Osasuna on January 11. In the Brazilian's absence, Lamine Yamal has taken on more prominence, who against Alavés was one of Barça's most outstanding players and a torment for the babazorra defense.

In addition to Ter Stegen and Raphinha, against Alavés Barça recovered Iñigo Martínez, but Ferran Torres, Marcos Alonso, Sergi Roberto, Gavi and Alejandro Balde are still out. Both the one from Los Palacios and the full-back will no longer appear this season, both seriously injured.
