Madrid denounces the insults to Vinícius to the Prosecutor's Office and Antiviolencia tries to identify the aggressors

Real Madrid has denounced the racist insults that Vinícius received in the match against Valencia at Mestalla before the State Attorney General's Office. The white club has published a statement in which it shows "its strongest rejection and condemnation of the events that occurred yesterday against our player Vinícius Junior".

Real Madrid has ensured that "these events constitute a direct attack on the coexistence model of our social and democratic State of law" and considers that "such attacks also constitute a hate crime, for which reason it has filed the corresponding complaint with the Prosecutor's Office General of the State, specifically before the Prosecutor's Office against hate crimes and discrimination, so that the facts are investigated and responsibilities are purged".

In addition, the white club has made reference to article 124 of the Spanish Constitution that "establishes as functions of the Public Prosecutor's Office to promote the action of justice in defense of legality and the rights of citizens and the public interest". "For this reason, and given the seriousness of the events that occurred, Real Madrid has turned to the State Attorney General's Office, without prejudice to its appearance as a private prosecution in the proceedings that are being initiated," the statement concluded.

For its part, Valencia has already located two suspects of insulting Vinícius, and the player has received a wave of messages of support from his teammates, players from other clubs and former players, as well as from Gianni Infantino, president of the FIFA. The events have crossed borders and Lula da Silva himself, the president of Brazil, has condemned what happened and wanted to send his full support to the Real Madrid striker.

However, not all have been kind words for the player, since after charging against the League, its president, Javier Tebas, has responded forcefully through a message on his Twitter account defending that "neither Spain nor the League They're racist." Thebes has also complained that "we cannot allow the image of a competition that is above all a symbol of union between peoples to be tarnished." After this message as a response, the president of the League has also published it in Portuguese.

For its part, the Permanent Commission of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport requested this Monday the collaboration of Valencia and Real Madrid to identify the perpetrators of the racist insults uttered this Sunday by fans of the che team against the merengue footballer Vinicius Junior.

This was agreed at a meeting held at the Higher Sports Council (CSD) in Madrid, after which he issued a statement in which he reiterated his "absolute rejection of this type of behavior."

Antiviolence pointed out that the tasks of analysis of the available images are being carried out to achieve the identification of the authors of these insults and behaviors to propose the corresponding sanctions.

"This season, the Permanent Commission has already proposed sanctions for similar events which, due to their seriousness, amounted to 4,000 euros and included the prohibition of access to sports venues for a period of one year," he recalled.
