De la Fuente calls Bryan Zaragoza and Ansu Fati

Forwards Bryan Zaragoza and Ansu Fati have been called up by Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente late on Sunday, for Spain's matches against Scotland and Norway in the qualifying phase of Euro 2024, after Yeremy Pino's injury.

Bryan Zaragoza, scorer of a double in Granada's draw against Barcelona and one of the sensations at the start of LaLiga EA Sports, becomes the second player in the squad to be named for the first time after the Athletic Club midfielder, Oihan Sancet.

Ansu Fati, Brighton forward, returns to the Spanish team after leaving Barcelona and starting a new stage of his career in English football. Both forwards have been called up by De la Fuente after Yeremy Pino suffered an injury with Villarreal on Sunday.

The two players expand the coach's news to six for the matches against Scotland, on Thursday, October 12 at La Cartuja in Seville, and in Oslo against Norway on the 15th. Along with the first call from Sancet and Zaragoza are the returns of Jesús Navas, Fran García, Ansu Fati and Mikel Oyarzabal.
