Camavinga renews with Real Madrid until 2029

Real Madrid announced the renewal of the contract of French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, which expired in 2027 and has been extended for two more seasons, until June 30, 2029, now having a termination clause of 1,000 million euros along with a Salary increase.

"Real Madrid C.F. and Camavinga have agreed to extend the player's contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2029," Real Madrid announced in a statement.

"Camavinga arrived at Real Madrid in 2021, at just 18 years old, and in his first two seasons he has won 6 titles: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 1 League, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 Super Cup of Spain," he added.

The Madrid club praised the achievements of one of its young stars, who, at just 20 years old, has already played 114 official matches with the Real Madrid shirt. He was nominated for the 'Golden Boy' in 2021 and 2022, and for the Kopa Trophy in 2022 and 2023.

Camavinga's renewal joins those of the Brazilians Vinícius Junior and Rodrygo Goes, announced last week, and that of the Uruguayan Fede Valverde, which will be announced in the coming days, according to club sources told EFE.

The four footballers are the result of the commitment of the club chaired by Florentino Pérez to sign young talents as soon as they begin to emerge in their countries and, after settling at Real Madrid, they have been protected with a clause of 1,000 million euros that scares away the interest of foreign clubs and the growth of Saudi Arabian football.

Camavinga, from Stade Rennes, arrived at Real Madrid in the first days of September 2021 and on the 9th he signed his first contract until June 2027, which he now extends for two more years. International for France, he has become a key player for Carlo Ancelotti due to his versatility and contribution in the center of the field as an emergency solution for the left back.
