Balde will be out for two months after suffering a terrifying attack from Amath

Alejandro Balde had to leave the Camp Nou pitch on the shoulders of two members of the FC Barcelona staff after suffering a terrifying tackle from Amath Ndiaye, a Mallorca player, on the penultimate day of the Santander League.

A first exploration of the ailment determined that the Barça player suffers a partial tear of the external lateral ligament of the right ankle and will be between 6 and 7 weeks without stepping on the playing fields.

From the beginning, the image did not convey anything good for the Barça youth squad, who shed tears of pain after the harsh blow suffered.

The action took place on the Camp Nou wing a quarter of an hour into the duel between Barça and Mallorca, in what means the farewell to the old Camp Nou, and initially only earned Amath a yellow card. But Figueroa Vázquez was urged by the VAR to review the action and ended up expelling the small vermillion footballer.

This injury will leave Balde without being able to participate in the final four of the Nations League with Spain and surely also without being able to start the preseason with FC Barcelona. Xavi's footballers are summoned on July 10 for medical tests before starting training and will go on a tour of the United States on July 20.
