Alcaraz - Djokovic: schedule and where to watch the Wimbledon tennis final on TV today

Carlos Alcaraz will face seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic in an exciting final at the All England Tennis Club to win the prestigious British tournament.

The Murcian, current number 1 in the ATP ranking, has dazzled the world of tennis with his performance at Wimbledon, especially after defeating the Russian Daniil Medvedev (6-3, 6-3, 6-3) in the semifinals and the Danish Holger Rune (7-6, 6-4, 6-4) in the quarterfinals. Fresh from winning his eleventh ATP title, Alcaraz seeks his first title at the Cathedral of Tennis and his second Grand Slam of his career.

On the other hand, Novak Djokovic, with his impressive record of 23 Grand Slam titles, seven of which were won at Wimbledon, is on a formidable winning streak. Djokovic has won the last four editions of the tournament in a row, so he is the great favorite. However, Alcaraz's tenacity and fighting spirit, which he has shown on more than one occasion, could pose a real challenge for the Serbian veteran.

In fact, Djokovic has surrendered to the great career that the Spaniard is building: "This is the most anticipated final for the whole world since before the tournament, even for me. He is very young, but incredibly consistent, also grass, something I don't think a lot of people expected it because it seems like his style is more suited to clay and slower courts, but he's been able to respond to every challenge he's encountered."

The Wimbledon final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic, scheduled for this Sunday, July 16 at 3:00 p.m., will be broadcast live by Movistar, through its channel
