Valencia (PP and Vox) facilitate the return of the Civil Guard and the National Police to Expojove

The Valencia City Council formed by PP and Vox has confirmed this Monday the return of the Civil Guard and the National Police to Expojove, the great festival of childhood and youth that takes place every Christmas in the city of Valencia. The announcement was made this morning by the Councilor for Festivals and Traditions, Mónica Gil, from Vox, although as the councilor herself has acknowledged, this return was a commitment made after the change of government by the first Councilor for Festivals Santiago Ballester, from the PP. In this way, I have emphasized Gil, the State security forces and bodies return to the Feria Valencia site after eight years of absence, coinciding with the mandate of the left.

The current Festival Councilor has pointed out that the previous Government “had put obstacles” in the presence of the Civil Guard and the National Police, which meant that neither of them set up their stand at Expojove. The council, Gil explained, has had no problem putting up models and light boxes to facilitate the return of the two bodies to the Feria Valencia facilities.

Gil has pointed out that the Benemérita will hold fencing workshops, will have a photocall, will explain how Seprona works and will exhibit motor vehicles. For its part, the National Police will hold fingerprint workshops or police dog exhibitions. The councilor has stressed that the military command, which has not stopped attending Expojove, will also continue at the fair, although she has not been able to specify if any type of weapons or battle tanks will be shown, when asked by journalists.

Gil has pointed out that Expojove's budget rises to 454,000 euros, 36,000 more than last year. It will open on December 26 (it will close on January 4) with hours from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with special hours on the 31st and 1st. The general admission price remains at 5 euros.

The person in charge of Festivities has also taken the opportunity to announce the program of events at La Central with a slight budget cut, due to the fact that the works underway in the Central Park have caused less space to be occupied.

The Center will have as its backbone the figure of the Three Wise Men through a guided tour so that the little ones can learn about the journey of their majesties from the moment they receive their letters until they arrive at their homes. Likewise, Gil has indicated that there will be magic, theater or puppet shows.
