The great wedding of the Marquises of Griñón

After many obstacles, Tamara Falcó walked to the altar on Saturday, where Íñigo Onieva was waiting for her, to the sounds of the Largo from the opera Xerxes by George Frideric Handel. The ceremony took place in one of the courtyards of the El Rincón palace, owned by the Falcós, in front of 400 guests. And the gardens of the estate were the scene of the dinner and the subsequent party that lasted until dawn.

The magazine ¡Hola! , which advanced its edition yesterday, published the exclusive images and details of the couple's big day, which crowned their love after three years of relationship and controversial sounds, which are now part of their past as a couple

The best-kept secret until the magazine hit newsstands was the bride's dress, designed by Wes Gordon for Carolina Herrera. The dress was expected to be inspired by Grace Kelly's, but in the end, after many alterations in terms of design, the aesthetic is more reminiscent of what Queen Letizia wore.

Crafted from ivory white silk crepe, Falcon's dress was embellished with embroidery and hand-stitched crystal rhinestones separated by a long row of buttons down the front. For the embroideries, 400 hours of work by 18 artisans were necessary. The bride's understated bouquet was arranged with lily of the valley and white bouvardia, and to top off her look, as planned, she wore an Art Deco-style tiara of glitter from the Falcó family.

Apart from the bride and groom's dresses, the most talked about was that of Isabel Preysler, who wore a flattering yellow dress with a floral print and bare shoulders by Carolina Herrera, chosen by Tamara. The same design had already been worn by Jennifer Lopez a few months ago.

The dresses chosen by Eugenia Silva, who wore a haute couture archive piece created in 2016 by Josep Font for Del Pozo, and Eugenia Martínez de Irujo, who debuted a medieval-inspired dress, were also much commented on. by Teresa Helbig which she combined with Tous jewelery designed by herself.

The day after the wedding, to put an end to the celebrations, the newlyweds hosted a brunch for their closest friends at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz hotel in Madrid, the same venue they chose for a reception on Friday night before the wedding
