The Godó Group has announced that from May 1 Eulàlia Carbonell will join RAC1 and RAC105 as managing director of Radiocat XXI (the broadcasting company), with the aim of improving the organization in the different radio areas and achieve internal coordination and with the rest of the areas of the larger company. Parallel to his incorporation, the creation of the new content director has also been announced, which will be taken over by Xavi Pérez, as responsible for all radio and antenna programming.
The two positions will depend on the Group's general business manager, Xavier de Pol. The direction of the radio is completed with Eli Sabanés at the head of the administration area, and the other units and sections of the house: news (Joan Maria Morros), sports (Joan Lluís Garcia), programs (Xavier Aymerich ), RAC105 (Albert Buscarons and Ernest Codina), technical, marketing (Emma Martínez) and audiences, with their current managers. The changes are framed in the context of the various organizational changes that the Godó Group has made in recent months. Óscar Rodríguez was appointed as general director of La Vanguardia in October. At the same time, Abel Álvarez, until then the Group's controller, became head of the printing and distribution units. In the marketing area, Ivan Grau assumed the general direction of Godó Strategies at the beginning of 2023. And finally, Rafa López Jano was promoted as managing director of Mundo Deportivo in January.
