Ayuso's boyfriend proposed accepting eight months in prison and 525,000 euros to avoid going to trial

Alberto González Amador, partner of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, proposed to the Prosecutor's Office to accept eight months in prison and pay about 525,000 euros for two tax crimes to avoid going to trial.

The document, the content of which has been advanced by Cadena Ser and to which EFE has had access, is signed by lawyer Carlos Neira, and it details the penalty and fine that Alberto González would be willing to accept to avoid going to prison.

On February 2, Neira sent the Prosecutor's Office an eight-page document in which Díaz Ayuso's partner "fully accepts" the commission of two crimes related to the 2020 and 2021 fiscal years.

Specifically, his agreement was to accept eight months in prison - which would prevent him from being in prison for being under two years and having no criminal record - and pay the defrauded fee, which is around 350,000 euros, plus late payment interest and a penalty of 40% of that amount to the Treasury, which would add up to about 525,000 euros.

"Alberto González Amador fully accepts the facts contained in the Crime-Linked Settlement that we attach to this proposal, as well as the existence of two crimes against the Public Treasury for Corporate Tax, 2020 and 2021, and its authorship as sole administrator and partner. of the Maxwell company", reads the letter, which, on the contrary, omits any allusion to the crime of document falsification of which the Prosecutor's Office also accuses him.

Likewise, it proposes not being able to accept or obtain subsidies or public aid nor the right to enjoy tax or Social Security benefits or incentives for 9 months.

Of course, the defense makes it clear that "this proposal for criminal compliance is conditional on the suspension of the prison sentence that is included in the definitively reached criminal compliance."

Fiscal sources inform EFE that this document has been provided to the Chamber prosecutors who are meeting in the Board this Wednesday to debate whether to support or reject the opening of a criminal investigation for a crime of revealing secrets derived from the data leak of the boyfriend of the Madrid president.
