The National Police have arrested a 29-year-old woman accused of stabbing her 36-year-old boyfriend three times, one of them in the heart area, who saved his life due to the rapid action of the agents upon arriving at the home where The events occurred in the Madrid district of Salamanca.

The event took place around 06:45 a.m. last Tuesday, when 091 received a notice for a possible stabbing in a house on Goya street in the capital, according to Vózpopuli and police sources have confirmed to EFE.

Upon arriving at the property, the agents found a woman, Spanish of Venezuelan origin, in a notable state of agitation, who made a confession: "It was me."

The police then entered the home, where they found a man, a Colombian national, completely bloody, lying on the ground.

The victim had three stab wounds, one to the chest and two to the left shoulder, and was in cardiorespiratory arrest.

The agents began to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers while they covered the wounds produced by a knife.

The emergency toilets displaced to the place continued with the maneuvers and managed to reverse the cardiorespiratory arrest. The stabbed person was transferred stable but with a very serious prognosis to the La Princesa hospital.

In the first inspection of the house, the agents located a knife stained with blood. It was in the kitchen sink.

In order to clarify what happened, the police officers met with the residents of the building, including a woman who assured them that the stabbed's girlfriend was the perpetrator of the events. The woman was arrested on charges of attempted murder.
