The 57-year-old woman who was seriously injured yesterday in an accident in Valladolid has died at one o'clock this morning at the Valladolid Clinical Hospital, in an accident in which the author, a 19-year-old man who tested negative for drugs and alcohol, fled and was arrested minutes later, sources from the Municipal Police have informed EFE.
The event occurred around eight twenty yesterday afternoon, at number 2 Águila street, in the Pajarillos neighborhood of Valladolid, when the woman was run over as she was crossing the road, and with the impact she fell into the premises of the terrace of the bar that was at that height of the road.
The driver fled, although with the description of the model and the help of a municipal tow truck driver, he was located in less than ten minutes at Avenida de Segovia 46.
The young man, who has given "zero" in drugs and alcohol, according to the same sources, was arrested for a crime against road safety and abandonment of the accident scene.
After the accident, the woman was transferred in a mobile ICU to the Clinical Hospital of Valladolid where she died this morning.
