In recent years it has become fashionable to record many pets reacting to movie scenes on television or sports and they are usually dogs and cats that get scared when watching scary movies or that become attached to cartoon animals.
However, this video is much more curious, since it is a turtle that is watching television very concentrated and in an environment that is not usual for this reptile.
The animal is watching a documentary about turtles and they can be seen swimming at the bottom of the sea, but something happens that makes it react immediately and break its calm.
Suddenly, a huge shark appears and catches the turtle's attention and scares it so much that it hides its head in its shell as if the predator were really present.
“She was watching TV and got scared of the shark,” explains the author of the TikTok, where as if that were not enough you can perfectly see that the turtle is rolled up in some kind of blankets to be more comfortable.
“Why do they show him a shark?” laments one of the comments on the video. Another user says that she “is watching scary movies on her blanket” and that the turtles “are very smart.”
