With more than 274.4K views on TikTok and 31,069 likes on Instagram, Muñoz says that his "Galician paella" has it all: "the crunchy socarrat, the creamy potato, the smoky paprika, the sea butter that It is the pulpit, and this - the frisbee - which is pure iodine. Can you ask for more?"
The recipe, the truth, is that it sounds very good, but will the fervent defenders of the paella that Muñoz calls his creation with this name have liked? Well, as expected, not much. While some of his followers in networks wrote that more than a paella, the DiverXo chef's recipe is a "rice with things"; many others assured that "they would never eat that" ever again.
There have also been comments of disappointment and indignation not only from Valencians, but also from some Galicians, who argued that their cuisine did not have to merge with others. Or those who were terrified by the idea of adding potatoes to rice.
Even so, many other followers have stated in their comments that they would love to be able to try Dabiz Muñoz's "Galician paella", who probably already knew that he would raise blisters on social networks by choosing this name.
