Florence Pugh's quilt dress or Rihanna's skid: The worst looks of the Oscars

Between the glamor and elegance that most of the dresses that parade on the red carpet of the Oscars - this year dyed in champagne color - exude, the public likes to point out which have been the most extravagant and crazy proposals. Loud colours, exaggerated shapes or erratic combinations: the following looks are the big slips of this 95th edition of the film awards.

One of the stars that has most surprised by its stylistic choice has undoubtedly been the artist Florence Pugh. The artist has a very specific style and a true fixation for voluminous pieces. Thus, she is used to always being among her best dressed, this time, the artist has skated for her exaggerated design with a tail and combined with a black mini skirt.

A strident fluorescent green in a velvety fabric has included the actress Diane Becker to the worst dressed list. The piece features an extremely runaway neckline and has an unflattering shiny finish.

Although purple is one of the most original and attractive shades that have passed through this prelude to the awards, the design worn by Angela Bassett is too exaggerated: twisted skirt, asymmetrical and puffed neckline, and a mermaid cut.

Also with a puffy cut and an extreme tulle skirt, Melissa McCarthy has disappointed with her stylistic choice. A design with puffed sleeves, a turtleneck and a skirt in another fabric with trims.

Among the male faces that have passed through the prelude to the Oscars, Dwayne Johnson's has not gone unnoticed, like his suit. The actor has opted for a pink satin jacket and has decided to combine it with a black bow tie.

Brown leather and with strange openings on the hips. The outfit chosen by Rihanna for her walk on the red carpet at the Oscars has been, to say the least, atypical. Although many have applauded the artist's choice, the truth is that the two-piece design combined with a transparent tulle shirt does not fit with the dress code for this type of event.
