Celler Mond Obert is a small family project located in Mas de Sant Iscle, in Pla de Bages, since June 2019. This venture was born from the illusion, desire and effort of a family to make what began as a reality a hobby and today is a going concern.
Committed to the land they work and the wine culture of their surroundings, this small cellar grows its vineyards 100% organic. In addition to caring for the environment, this winery is proud of its star varieties such as Picapoll Blanc and Gewürztraminer, being the only producer that cultivates the latter in the D.O. Pla de Bages.
In addition to wine, Celler Mond Obert also produces oil obtained from its organically grown olive trees. The main varieties they grow are Arbequina, Corbella, Vera and Verdal Manresana (a native variety of the area). All this work is carried out by a team of people who take care of every detail to obtain exquisite products.
The visible faces of this team are Josep, Montse, Pep and Ivan. They are in charge of carrying out this project and making it possible for Mond Obert wines and oils to reach consumers.
It stands out, for example, its Picapoll Blanc, a fresh and balanced wine, with an acidity that gives it life and a flavor that evokes the land where it was born. The Gewürztraminer, for its part, is a variety that is less well-known in the area but which pleasantly surprises with its intense aroma and complex flavor.

Celler Mond Obert's Ba-roc Wine is the winery's first red wine, with a clean and bright ruby red color. Its aroma is intense, with notes of ripe red and black fruit such as cherries, plums and figs.
This wine has a slight aging in the barrel, which gives it the necessary structure to make it a very broad and sweet wine. It is ideal to accompany grilled meats and cured cheeses.
