This was precisely the case for Tamar and her daughter Julia, who, under the deception of an ordinary visit to the local animal shelter, found themselves starting a new chapter with an additional member of their family.
The surprise was discovered when Tamar, with the animal carrier on the ground, explained to her 9-year-old daughter the real reason for her visit. They hadn't actually gone to pet the kittens, but rather they were going to take one home so they could give it a second chance.
