7 spring wines to travel without leaving home this Easter

Floral and spring wines, of different colours, cheerful and fresh for the most beautiful season of the year. It is the selection that we bring you today, in which you will find bottles for all budgets and in which we have not decided on a single grape. From Riesling or Gewürztraminer to national varieties such as Torrontés or Mazuelo, we promise you an authentic journey with what follows:

Harmonious German white wine with a profile that would remind us of a Galician wine. It is very fragrant, floral, citric, with notes of green apple and very mineral. All its elaboration has been developed in stainless steel. Its passage of mouth is very sharp. In its long and pleasant finish we highlight the notes of flint.

White wine of pale yellow color, very aromatic and with outstanding floral aromas. Its main descriptors are pineapple, passion fruit, acacia flower and honeysuckle. In the mouth it is very subtle, delicate and refreshing as it has very good acidity. The finish is balsamic and fruity.

In this winery, organic agriculture is fundamental by conviction and its vines grow on granite soil. They benefit from the winds of La Tramontana and work with native varieties. In the preparation, stainless steel and oak barrels are combined. Its color is salmon and notes of roses, cherries, strawberries and herbal touches are perceived on the nose. In the mouth it is kind, fresh and with a slightly saline finish.

If there is a floral grape variety par excellence, it would be the Gewürztraminer. In Alsace it is also very well adapted to offer its best expression. In its floral notes we highlight lavender and rose. Fruit aromas such as lychees, pineapple and mango make it more fragrant and perfumed. In the mouth it is tasty and pleasant in its journey.

Delicate and very Mediterranean rosé wine, where a good altitude and the effect of the sea provide a certain elegance. It is dominated by floral aromas such as roses, currants, aromatic herbs and grapefruit. The palate is very refreshing and fruity on the palate, with a sweet finish. The base of the bottle is shaped like a rose, anticipating its style.

Barolos are among my favorite wines, within the wide range of Italian wines. Its grape, the Nebbiolo, is characterized by being very fragrant, tannic, but very balanced and fresh. One of the aromas that will give us clues about this wine will always be the rose petals, in addition to its somewhat orange tone. It has been aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, a more classic style of aging.

Another great success by Raúl Pérez in Valtuille de Abajo, with old Mencías that have been aged for 12 months in concrete and barrels. His folkloric label corresponds to the artist Okuda San Miguel and gives it a casual touch. It is a wine with a very floral character, with violets, red fruit and very mineral. The palate is wide, tasty and balanced. Long finish and long life still for this red wine.
