Who is Trevor Noah, host of the 2024 Grammy Awards?

Trevor Noah adds and continues. The American comedian will be in charge of presenting the Grammy Awards gala for the fourth consecutive year, which will be held this Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and will be followed by millions of people around the world.

Judging by his selection by the US National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Noah seems like the perfect person to present the industry's most prestigious awards. The comedian has expressed in numerous interviews his deep love and respect for music.

And that shows in his driving. In the three previous galas, critics highlighted his ability to connect with the artists and create a friendly environment for the public and viewers.

Not only is Noah a host this year, but he's also nominated with his comedy album I Wish You Would competing against Wanda Sykes' I'm an Entertainer; Selective Outrage by Chris Rock; Someone You Love by Sarah Silverman; and What's in a Name? by Dave Chappelle.

The comedian is an old acquaintance of the American public. He rose to fame thanks to Comedy Central's The Daily Show from 2015 to 2022, which just won an Emmy Award for Best Comedy and Variety Format. He also won another in 2017 for hosting a spin-off show, The Daily Show-Behind the Scenes.

And it seems like Noah can't get enough of directing the Grammys. Speaking to AP, the presenter assures that he is eager to see live performances by artists such as Burna Boy, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa and Travis Scott.
