One of her latest requests came through an interview in El Diario Vasco.
“When he was admitted he was diagnosed with 40% of his pancreas with necrosis, but after almost two months in the hospital he is now worse. Doctors warn us of the risk of severe internal bleeding. In addition, respiratory complications have appeared. In the last drainage of the pancreatic fluid that they performed on him over the weekend, there were some complications and they had to intubate him,” the affected woman explained about the condition of her husband.

"I tell him to fight, to be strong, and I am convinced that he will move forward because he is strong and will endure for his children, but his eyes tell me that he is fading," she insisted, although she could not give more details about his conversations with the Minister of Defense, Margarita Robles.
