With the passage of time and with the repeated use of a piece of clothing, those dreaded little balls may appear on the clothes that make the outfit ugly and give the piece an aged and careless appearance. Rubbing on materials such as cotton or wool, or excessive washing, are usually the main culprits.
Before resorting to disposing of it in the recycled clothing trash or donating it to a non-profit association, there are two easy tricks you can do at home to permanently remove these little balls from your clothes.
For the first method, you will only need a fiber scourer, the same one that one could use to wash dishes and any kitchen utensil. Once the garment is flattened and stretched so that the balls can be seen, it should be rubbed gently with a sponge for a few minutes.
For the second trick, all you need is a ribbon rolled up in the palm of your hand. With the adhesive part on the opposite side of the hand, we will pass it through the fabric several times until the pellets completely detach from the garment. The only thing necessary will be that that adhesive tape is strong enough to be able to tear them off.
