The doors of the most romantic restaurant on the small screen opened again one more night to receive the visit of various diners willing to live a unique experience and, if possible, find the person of their dreams. One of the events this Thursday was the one starring Iván and Irene.
The 25-year-old Valencian bachelor who confessed as soon as he arrived that he suffered from ADHD. He had appeared on First Dates at the initiative of his mother, who suffered from a degenerative disease. Furthermore, the bachelor, who knew that her mother was a big fan of Carlos Sobera, took advantage of the opportunity to ask for an autograph for her. ''I take great care of my mother and of all people in general,'' he confessed. And the bachelor worked as a monitor in a mental health center, something that he had always had as a vocation.
I wanted to find a girl with good values to start a stable relationship. Her date was Irene, a 24-year-old woman from Alicante who defined herself as a very empathetic person with a desire to help others. In childhood, she had suffered bullying, but now she felt like a very strong woman and proud of everything she had achieved.
The first impression among the singles was quite different. While Iván was delighted with the single woman, Irene was a little disappointed. ''She is very pretty, tall, but above all she has beautiful eyes,'' Iván confessed. ''She's not my prototype of guys, but I said I'm going to meet him,'' she asserted. The evening began with both of them confessing that they had a lot of talk as they get nervous. ''I apologize in advance, I'm a mess of a person,'' he said.
Suddenly, the bachelor shocked Irene with a surreal story that had happened to him just two months ago. ''The Civil Guard called me to tell me if I could go to the barracks because they had accused me of running over a person in Andalusia. In my life I have been to Andalusia. There was a photo of the same model of my car, with the same license plate, running over the person,' he said. ''But with the same license plate?'' she said. ''They falsified my license plate,'' she explained. ''How strong, it almost hit me, I went crazy,'' Irene confessed, totally amazed.
At one point during the evening, Iván once again left the single woman speechless by confessing one of his love failures: ''My first partner became pregnant by someone else while being with me.'' ''Oh my mother, I've gone crazy,'' she said.
The date progressed and the complicity between the two increased as the minutes passed. And the singles, who had felt very comfortable throughout the dinner, discovered that they had many points in common, such as their values when it came to meeting a person. Therefore, there were no surprises in the final decision and they both left the restaurant hand in hand and ready to continue getting to know each other.
