The surprising statements of the widow of José Antonio Reyes: "I am assimilating everything"

Four years have passed since José Antonio Reyes died in a traffic accident in Seville. An event that shocked the world of football and the country in general. Now, his family not only has to deal with not having him among them, but they have to deal with the problems caused by the debts that the soccer player had.

Reyes did not have a will at the time of his death, which made everything complicated considerably. The soccer player had 18 properties, most of which he had mortgaged, which meant that no family member could make the payments. This has caused three of these properties to go up for auction, including the home of the parents of the deceased. Noelia López, the widow of José Antonio Reyes, wanted to speak about it in Y ahora Sonsoles.

The eviction by court order of the soccer player's parents is scheduled for June 26. Something that has surprised the whole family, including Noelia López. The soccer player left her entire fortune to her three children and her mothers are in charge of watching over her until they are of legal age.

However, the footballer's widow assured on the Antena 3 program that she remains completely "outside" of her late husband's financial affairs. Lopez claimed that she was unaware of the situation until it came to light, so she is "finding out everything" now. "I'm taking it in," she confessed. And it is that he does not know how this can affect both her and her daughters in the future.

But it is the soccer player's parents who seem to be worst off, at least for now. Faced with their imminent eviction, "they are very concerned trying to find out what will happen to them and in permanent contact with the lawyers," as they explained in the aforementioned program.

Of course, it is not the first time that the footballer's financial problems have caused some of his properties to go up for auction after his death. Among which is, for example, a house in Boadilla del Monte.

In the Y ahora Sonsoles program, they also explained the null relationship between Noelia López and the soccer player's parents. After the death of Reyes, the relationship between the widow and the player's family ended completely. For this reason, she had to face the whole situation alone, as she explained.

What is clear is that the loss of José Antonio Reyes is something that, four years later, they still have not been able to forget. A few weeks ago, López published some photos on his Instagram account of him paying tribute to the footballer for the victory of Sevilla, the club that saw the player born as a professional.
