March 2023 ends with some peculiar news in the gossip press: Ana Obregón has become a mother again at 68 years of age. She has achieved it thanks to surrogacy, a completely legal process in the United States, the country where she was born her second daughter on March 20.
A birth that has filled the actress and presenter with joy, who thus becomes a mother for the second time after the death of her son, Aless Lequio, who died in 2020 from cancer. The actress occupies this Wednesday the cover of the magazine Hello!, which publishes for the first time the first images of the newly released mother with her baby.
The presenter has had her environment very concerned in recent months, and it is that her mental health seemed to be declining over the months. After finding herself unable to overcome the death of her son, the presenter was joined by two other tragedies: the death of her parents, Antonio and Ana, just a few months apart. Some losses that would have led Ana to reconsider her role in her life and make the decision to fulfill her dream of being a mother again.
As the aforementioned publication reports, the actress would have been very hermetic about this entire process. Only three people would have been aware of everything that was happening in her life: her sisters, Celia and Amalia, and her ex-partner, Alessandro Lequio.
The presenter would have started the process in June 2022, coinciding with the birthday of her son Aless, who would have turned 30 on June 17; and during all these months she would have kept in permanent contact with the pregnant woman to find out how everything was going with the baby and to know her state of health.
The Obregón family has always been very close, in the good times and in the bad times they have gone through. They are the presenter's little sisters, Celia and Amalia, to whom she is closest -the biologist has two older brothers, Juan Antonio and Javier-; and they are her best friends, as the actress herself has revealed on more than one occasion. Always discreet, it is difficult to find any reference to them in the media.
On March 16, the actress took a commercial plane to Miami (USA). She did it alone, discreetly, on a commercial flight and playing distraction on social networks pretending to go on vacation to rest. It was there that the presenter celebrated her 68th birthday (March 18), which she dedicated to her son Aless.
On March 20, the actress went to the hospital - symbolically dressed completely in white - to welcome her little girl. For three days, the actress remained in the hospital until they were finally able to leave, mother and daughter, on March 22.
