The Shrew Boy is already on sale. One of Aless Lequio's greatest wishes has been fulfilled thanks to her mother's hard work and her desire to fulfill her son's last wishes.
Before dying due to Ewing's sarcoma at the age of 27, Aless Lequio began the book in which he talked about different anecdotes, his experience with cancer and where he reflected on life. When she died, she had only written 20 pages, but Ana Obregón decided to get to work and finish the text to create a new joint version and launch it on the market.
The book generated such expectation that all the copies of the first edition were sold out before being officially launched, in pre-sale, so the second edition of the manuscript is already being sold.
One of the elements that have most attracted the attention of the book is how the young man addresses his mother, since he uses a series of somewhat controversial names: ''My mother is an actress, one of those who have made a pilgrimage to Hollywood, one of the who never stop working, who put on theater right under your nose and haggle with you without realizing it".
On one of the pages of the book, Count Lequio's son details how his mother used to blame him for "the little time he spent" and how she was always a very protective figure with him.
"The first 15 minutes of any conversation with my mother are occupied by her usual monologue of appreciations that feel like ice on the back," she explains in the letter, implying that Obregón is a demanding mother.
Ana Obregón has mixed two of her son's last wills, since all the benefits generated by the sale of the book will go to the Aless Lequio Foundation, an entity that the actress created a few months ago to support research against cancer in through research.
''You will like to know that you are already number one in pre-sales and above all the solidarity of all those who have bought it, contributing their grain of sand for your Foundation and cancer research. I wish you were here to enjoy your success, I hope the good news reaches heaven '', the artist wrote very excitedly on her official Instagram account.
