The most familiar (and, loving) night of Felipe and Letizia

A family dinner is a family dinner, but the kings Felipe and Letizia do not forget that they are also a couple and do not skimp on gestures of love and complicity. This Saturday, after the awards ceremony of the Copa del Rey Mapfre de Vela, the King celebrated the second place obtained in the regattas together with all the women with whom he shares his stay in Marivent, his second position in the regattas. A dinner that is repeated every year and that allows the whole family group to see.

The King went directly to the restaurant from the awards ceremony that took place in the Ses Voltes venue, under the cathedral of Palma. The place chosen was the Mia restaurant in the fishing district of Portixol, a new place that has been opened by the former manager of Ola de Mar, the restaurant that the family has frequented for other years.

When leaving the restaurant, after midnight, the Queen took Princess Irene by the hand to help her walk, while Queen Sofía leaned on Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía to walk.

Once on the sidewalk, the royal family huddled together so that photographers waiting outside could capture all of them together. They were kept outside the restaurant. The one this Saturday night is the first image of the King and Queen and their daughters with Queen Sofía since they settled in Palma to spend a few days off.

For the night out, Letizia chose a long red dress from Mango with flat leather sandals and beading; the princess has opted for a long dress in greenish tones and the infanta, also with a khaki dress with an ethnic print in pink; both with wedge shoes. Queen Sofía changed her usual Escada pajamas for a white pique dress with a blue and red print and trimmings, combined with blue esparto slippers. Princess Irene, who seems to have overcome the serious health problems that afflicted her months ago, wore a greenish blouse and beige pants. The King wore the regatta uniform, husband blue pants and a white polo shirt with the Aifos logo.

As in previous years, neither Letizia nor her daughters, Leonor and Sofía, have made an appearance at the yacht club. Despite having the motorboat that the King has rented for the private use of the royal family on their outings to the sea, the appearances of the Queen, the Princess and the Infanta have been on dry land. On Monday they starred in the family pose in the Alfàbia gardens, and on Friday, mother and daughters shared a morning with the children attending a workshop at the Jovent school farm, on the outskirts of Palma. The Queen began her stay on the island on Sunday by attending the closing of the Atlàntida Film Fest, and on Thursday, together with the King and Queen Sofía, she hosted the reception for the Balearic authorities and civil society that was held in Marivent .

The family begins today the private part of their vacation: a few more days in Mallorca before returning to Madrid. The King will go to Paraguay on the 14th for the inauguration of the new president, Santiago Peña, and on August 17 Princess Leonor will enter the Zaragoza military academy. Infanta Sofía still has a few days left, until on August 29 she begins her classes at Atlantic College in Wales (United Kingdom).
