In the last few hours, the entire world has its eyes set on Israel and Palestine. More than 600 people have been killed in Israel and 370 on the Palestinian side since Hamas launched its military offensive from the Gaza Strip on Saturday. Every day there are more testimonies that come from the site of the conflict, one of the last, that of the Cuban actress Daniela Tapia, who traveled alone to Israel to spend a vacation after being a finalist on the reality show MasterChef Celebrity Colombia. However, what had been a dream trip ended in tragedy.
The actress is trapped in the Middle Eastern country, and in the last few hours she has shared a video on social networks in which she narrates the horror she feels when constantly hearing the bombing and the sound of rifles. The finalist of the gastronomic program reported through her Instagram account that she is in good condition and that she is sheltered inside a house with a family, in a bunker that protects them from what happened outside the cabin.
The interpreter has shocked her followers with her testimony. "Hello everyone. It's hard, hard, I've never heard bombs in my life, going out on a terrace and listening to the sound of the bombs, as they fall, is very hard. I'm in a house with a family with some children, there's a bunker that protects us," the Cuban begins. The actress explained that she is in a state of shock and that she just wants to return to Colombia. "I only ask God to go out and be with my family," explained the actress, between tears.
Given the situation, her more than 700,000 followers on social networks have been concerned about her, which is why hundreds of messages have been reaching her. "Guys, for those who are asking me, please go on the Internet, I don't want to start talking. I'm at a moment in my life. I'm in shock, honestly, I don't even know what I can say," she expressed, visibly dejected and frightened. "I woke up at 8 in the morning with bombs, you don't know what it's like to wake up and feel the boom. I can't explain to you what it is. I just ask God to be able to take my flight," she expressed then.
"Find out on the Internet, the State of Israel went to war today, red alerts, everyone is trying to get out of the war country," he continued narrating. In the videos shared by the 36-year-old actress, you can see that Tapia is concerned about the serious situation in the country. "They are at war and it starts today and I am here. No, I don't know what else to say," she said.
Finally, the actress has narrated that she has managed to reach the airport to leave the country. According to what she herself says from the airport, all the airlines have canceled their flights, but she has been lucky that hers was the only one that has not done so, since it has an anti-missile system. "Only the Israeli line is flying, thanks to life I can get out. However, the flight has been delayed because they are waiting for the bombing to subside," she explains.
Daniela is already on her way home, and before getting on the plane, she seemed relieved to be able to leave the country. "When I'm home, I'll tell you everything I went through, from leaving the bunker to the airport. Not even in my worst nightmares could I imagine experiencing something like this, but thank God, I'm already at the airport," she said, relieved to be able to back home.
