The emotional message from Carlota Corredera on the last day of the broadcast of 'Save me': "You have made television history"

This Friday, June 23, Telecinco viewers say goodbye to one of the network's most iconic formats: Sálvame, the magazine that has occupied the afternoon time slot on the network for fourteen years. There are many recognized faces who have wanted to say goodbye to the program and its collaborators, including Carlota Corredera, who was the director and presenter of the space. In a message on social networks, Corredera has made it clear how proud she feels of everything that Sálvame has achieved in all this time.

"My head and my heart are with you, say goodbye to the program as it deserves, as you deserve," he began by saying through a post on Instagram, in which the iconic logo of the magazine appears. Carlota, who left the program in 2022 to focus on new projects, wanted to talk about the "talent" of the entire team, an audacity that "will continue to dazzle wherever you go."

"You have made television history in Spain, no one can erase us or turn off your brightness. I love you, always on your team," he sentenced. But that's not all, since Corredera has put an end to his publication with a set of the most significant and emotional hashtags. "The program of our lives", "end of cycle", "television history", "the best team on television" and "God bless 'Save me'". Without a doubt, the presenter keeps good memories of her stage in the format, a format that allowed her to grow professionally.

It is not the first time that Corredera expresses how sad he feels about the end of the program. In a recent interview with El Faro de Vigo, the Galician woman assured that she is very excited to face new projects, but that Sálvame will always be special. "Other programs will come, I hope many, but it is difficult to match what I have experienced there," she expressed. Carlota Corredera revealed that she feels "very proud to have been one of the founders" of the program. "Hopefully sooner rather than later there will be new projects from the production company to relocate most of the colleagues, hopefully everyone. As I tell them, I have been out of there for a year and life goes on," she stated.

Since the end of the format was announced, last May, the presenters and collaborators have done everything in their power to offer their best version to the viewer. Finally, the day has come, and this afternoon the program will say goodbye, also coinciding with the second anniversary of the death of Mila Ximénez, one of the most iconic collaborators the space has ever had.

On June 26, a new stage will begin in the afternoons of the chain, which will be led by Ana Rosa Quintana, who will be present both in the mornings and in the afternoons. However, this format would arrive after the summer, and during the summer it would be the new program Así es la vida, by Sandra Barneda, which would fill the void of Sálvame. Undoubtedly, this disappearance will be a severe setback for all those faithful viewers who have accompanied the collaborators during the fourteen years of broadcast. It's the end of an era.
