Tearful connection in 'Survivientes 2023': Ginés collapses at his daughter's reproaches and leaves the set

"You don't have to go into everything, but there are little things that you need to talk to him about, and above all, he needs to explain things to you." With these words, Carlos Sobera gave way to one of the most tearful connections of the last Survivors 2023 gala. A twelfth installment marked by the presence on the set of Ginés Corregüela and the marked absence of his daughter Miriam.

Such was the tension, the reproaches and the harsh words of the young woman towards her father, that he, with tears in his eyes and depressed, ended up leaving the Telecinco set. "I screwed up," he assured her. But he also made it clear that they would have to respect her life and who she had chosen to share it with. That is, with Yaiza Martín.

The arrival of Ginés in Spain has not been as happy as could be expected. Her daughter Miriam has preferred to stay on the sidelines and move away from television after the disagreements she experienced with her father's girlfriend, Yaiza Martín. Added to this was the fact that Miriam had not yet been able to speak with her father, something that he justified by referring to an Instagram post where she claimed not to want to talk to him.

The 12 Survivors gala gave both the opportunity to speak and explain themselves, also to reproach and comment, but above all to try to find a middle ground for reconciliation. However, from the beginning, the live connection was quite complicated.

“The problem is that you have focused more on a social network than on whether I am going to take it from you. I have been waiting two days for you to call and you have called everyone, ”Miriam would let go as soon as she began the conversation with her father. A reproach that was followed by another one: “You told my sister that I wish she had gone to the set and not me. It seems you only have one daughter.”

Some words that Ginés has also tried to deny by intoning the mea culpa for not behaving well with his family. In fact, the former survivor has made it clear to him that he is not only in love with Yaiza, but that "whoever wants to get on my boat should get on and whoever doesn't, well, you'll have to respect me."

Faced with this comment, the attitude of the young woman over the phone was absolutely cold, especially since Ginés has given "priority to other things" when leaving the contest instead of calling her. That has hurt a lot. "Whenever you want, call me and we'll talk. Whenever you're calm and want, I'm suddenly there and we talk relaxed. You explain to me and I explain to you”, Ginés promised.

However, the contestant ended up collapsing and crying when Carlos Sobera asked him if he missed his daughter. "A child is for life and I love her madly." And he added: “I ask your forgiveness a thousand times. If I have to go on my knees, I will. But as a father it hurts a lot. But he has to respect me, I have to live life the way I want and with whoever I want."

"Her partner knows that I love her madly," he said completely broken and unable to articulate a word. So much so that Yaiza, who was sitting next to him, tried to comfort him. “I know I screwed up. If you want, we'll talk there, but you'll have to respect whoever she wants to be with. I know what I want, ”he concluded.

Once the connection with Miriam ended, Ginés, overwhelmed by circumstances, decided to leave the set wrapped in a bath of tears. He couldn't take it anymore with so much reproach. A few minutes later, the contestant returned to his place and Carlos Sobera wanted to know how he was. “I am willing to do whatever it takes,” he assured.
