Scarlett Johansson's unexpected comments about her marriage to Ryan Reynolds

The actress Scarlett Johansson surprised her fans around the world a few days ago by talking about her relationship with the actor Ryan Reynolds, whom she got married to and from whom she has been divorced for more than a decade.

The model has always been very discreet on the subject, which is why the surprise was huge when she shared her experience on the Goop podcast, a radio space presented by Gwyneth Paltrow, last Tuesday.

The Hollywood actors maintained a sentimental relationship in the media for just over four years, but in 2011 they decided to put an end to their marriage due to some differences.

After this failed attempt to create a happy home and family, each of the artists went their own way. Reynolds, who played the character Deadpool, soon after married his current partner, actress Blake Lively, with whom he has four children together.

In the interview for the podcast space, Paltrow asked the artist about her marriages: "Were you married twice?", to which she replied that it was actually "three times." At that moment, the presenter recalled her story with Reynolds and did not hesitate to express that at home "they adore the actor."

Faced with such statements, Scarlett Johansson limited herself to answering that her ex-husband is a "good man", although they were not married for long. It should be noted that her love story ended more than 12 years ago, so when they got married they were still inexperienced young people and now both have grown and evolved a lot.

The star couple officially announced their separation in December 2010, after two years of marriage. Finally, their divorce was signed in the following July.

Although the artists do not usually make statements about their failed relationship and have been reticent to talk about everything that surrounds the romance they lived together, the actress opened up a few years ago in an interview for Vanity Fair: "The first time I married I was 23 years old. I really didn't have an understanding of marriage. Maybe I idealized him, I think, in a way.'' Since 2017, Johansson has been dating comedian Colin Jost, whom she married two years later and with whom she had a son in 2021 named Cosmo.
