Sálvame has wanted to close its doors in a big way, with a very special program, in which almost all the collaborators who have been part of it all these years have attended.
Dressed in white and wanting to celebrate their particular night of San Juan, all the collaborators have entered the set happy and excited to say goodbye together to the great family that they have formed all these years.
And it can be considered a bittersweet moment, since despite being sad about the end, everyone is very proud of the program they have made, which has undoubtedly become part of television history. But the farewell has not been as perfect as they would have liked, since there has been a great absence, Jorge Javier Vázquez. The presenter announced a few weeks ago that he was not at his best and that he needed time to recover, which would mean being away from the small screen.
The hopes of his colleagues and the public were placed on the presenter appearing this last day, but everything has remained a simple wish. Vázquez could not be there with everyone, but the magazine team wanted to pay him an emotional tribute, remembering his passage through space these fourteen years. After the video, all the attendees on the set got up excitedly to give him a big round of applause.
One of the collaborators who has not been able to prevent tears from coming to her eyes has been Carmen Alcayde. The presenter has recalled her beginnings in the chain with Jorge Javier Vázquez in Aquí no hay tomate. "I am very sorry that he is not here and I have told him many times with so much criticism and I told him that you are lucky to be the freest and bravest person on television to speak and we cannot all do that," she declared. .
Pilar Vidal has been another of the collaborators who was most excited. ''He and I have the same sense of humor and I miss him a lot, she has left me an orphan, he is unique. I would have loved him to be here today '', confessed the collaborator.
Kiko Hernández, however, surprised all his teammates with his words. ''If I had to stay with a presenter it would be Paz Padilla,'' she declared. Within seconds of saying that sentence, the collaborator would laugh and confess: ''Jorge, I love you, and I tell you one thing without you this would have been very difficult, because you were the common thread of all the plots.
