Rocío Carrasco wins the legal battle against her sister Gloria Camila

Rocío Carrasco has won the legal battle against her sister Gloria Camila, who sued the eldest daughter of Rocío Jurado for falsifying a private document and a crime of presenting a false document in judicial proceedings. According to exclusive information from Lecturas magazine, the court would have dismissed the petition and filed the complaint.

This has been ruled by the Provincial Court of Madrid on March 10, a resolution against which there is no appeal, according to this information. Justice finally shelves the accusations of the singer's young daughter.

Gloria Camilia had sued her sister for document falsification. The entire process originates from the manuscript that Carrasco delivered to the judge of the investigating court number 5 of Alcobendas on October 29, 2021 in the preliminary proceedings between the parties.

Despite the fact that the document was left out of the process because Camila's defense considered that it was not what was required, it was decided to make a calligraphic expert report with the copy of that manuscript. In her report, to which La Vanguardia had access, the expert was clear in her conclusions: the handwriting of the manuscript delivered by Rocío Carrasco did not correspond to that of Rocío Jurado.

Following that report, Gloría Camila's defense filed the lawsuit, in a move that some saw as an attempt to clean up the image of her father José Ortega Cano and to discredit Rocío Carrasco.

Despite this attempt, the Provincial Court of Madrid does not appreciate that a crime of documentary falsification or presentation of a false document in judicial proceedings has been committed. In this way, he agrees with the eldest daughter of Rocío Jurado, who emerges unscathed from this procedure.

You have to go back to the docuseries starring Carrasco to understand the meaning of this legal initiative. Specifically, to In the name of Rocío, where he attacks some members of the clan, with special virulence towards his uncles Amador and Gloria Mohedano, and Jurado's ex-husband, José Ortega Cano.

Gloria Camila's lawyer requested "any private document owned by Rocío Jurado, which had been delivered to the producer and the chain." However, neither the chain, nor the producer nor Carrasco herself delivered anything, alleging that they did not have any document of these characteristics that would appear in the docuseries, although Rocío did make said document available to the judge, that the party plaintiff had not requested.
