Rafael Amargo contests to be a police officer after being arrested for drug trafficking

The flamenco dancer Rafael Amargo is going through some difficult months. After spending a season away from the media spotlight after suffering several arrests for drug trafficking that the artist defined as "very unfair", the man from Granada has returned to the ring and has attended the media.

In an interview he gave last Wednesday for the Antena 3 Espejo Público program, Amargo once again pleaded not guilty to everything he is accused of and confessed that he is having a very bad time and that he has been in psychiatric treatment for two and a half years. In addition, he told journalists that the situation is not only affecting him, but that his relatives are also suffering a lot, for which reason on many occasions he has thought of ending his life and "getting out of the way." '.

After speaking about his latest arrest in Alicante, when they detained him without explanation and he defended himself, even biting the agent, the bailaor revealed exclusively for the gossip magazine Semana that he is about to turn his life around.

The Andalusian confessed before the cameras of the magazine that he lived through a brutal police assault and that the authorities have not behaved well with him, so he is determined to lead by example and will try to apply to be a policeman. In addition, Rafael Amargo himself acknowledged that he was already enrolled in a preparation academy for said tests.

According to the flamenco dance professional, he will soon begin to prepare for the different exams and physical tests and will try with all his might to become one more member of the agents of the State Security Forces and Corps.

This is not the only training that Amargo has in his hands, since a few years ago he began a degree in psychology, but his involvement with it has been reduced to a minimum due to the work and personal events that have shaken his life.

When Amargo recalls the night of his second arrest in Alicante, the Granada-born bailaor continues to defend that he did not resist, but simply wanted the Police to properly inform him of the reasons why they wanted to arrest him.

When asked on the Susanna Griso program if it is true that he bit one of the agents, Rafael Amargo replied that he had no choice: "I was lying on the ground. I turned it around and a riot broke out, they throw me to the ground to calm me down, but when they castrate you and they stomp on your head... I defended myself.''
