New aristocratic wedding in Madrid between Carmen Gómez-Acebo and Borja Álvarez de Estrada: from Isabelle Junot to the bride's dress

The wedding of Carmen Gómez-Acebo and Borja Álvarez de Estrada took place on April 26 at the Concepción Real de Calatrava church in Madrid. The wedding was a moment of joy for the Gómez-Acebo family after the recent death of Fernando Gómez-Acebo.

The guests, including family and close friends of the couple, gathered at this emblematic temple to witness the wedding, which was another of the great weddings of Spanish high society.

The bride, Carmen, daughter of Juan Gómez-Acebo and María de Aguilar, chose a novel Greek-inspired design by Navascués, a brand known for its ability to create bridal pieces that combine classic elegance with contemporary touches. Thus, the dress stood out for its elegance and unique details in various fabrics, including an impressive white tulle veil.

The groom, Borja, kept a low profile in terms of clothing, opting for the traditional elegance of a dark suit, which perfectly complemented the formal nature of the event. He arrived accompanied by his mother and godmother of the wedding, and expressed her excitement and nervousness moments before the ceremony: "I'll wait for you here."

The wedding not only stood out for the wedding itself, but also for the outstanding guest list. Among them, personalities such as Isabelle Junot and Álvaro Falcó, who did not go unnoticed; Israel Bayón and Cristina Sainz, as well as her sister Katy Sainz and Andrés Burdett. The influencer Ana Brito also made an appearance.

After the solemn religious ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests moved to the exclusive Real Club of Puerta de Hierro. The celebration continued with a cocktail and dinner, followed by a lively party that continued into the early hours of the morning.
