This Wednesday, Miguel Ángel Revilla visited El Hormiguero again. He is one of the most frequent guests on the program since he began his career on television 18 seasons ago. During the talk between the former president of Cantabria and Pablos Motos, Revilla spoke again about his wife's illness and her recovery, but also about the political situation.
In fact, he revealed the reasons why he no longer has a relationship with Pedro Sánchez and went so far as to confess who he would vote for if the President of the Government calls elections. She even sent a strong message to Sánchez regarding the issue of amnesty.
The failed investiture of Albert Núñez Feijóo and the proposal of Pedro Sánchez as a candidate by King Felipe IV, led Pablo Motos to ask Miguel Ángel Revilla about the current political situation. On the one hand, he sent a message to the Galician, against whom he attacked if he only gets support from Vox. And, on the other hand, he was forceful regarding the issue of amnesty.
At that moment, the former Cantabrian president looked at the camera to send a message, and even give some advice, to Pedro Sánchez: “Dear Pedro, now you no longer consult me [although he previously claimed that during the first months the president asked him for advice] , a month ago, seeing how things were, I ventured to dial your phone. There was no answer. I only tried it once, it wasn't a matter of calling three or four times.”
He did it because he was wondering “how Pedro was doing. There he will be registered in my Nokia.” The reason for that call was clear: “I would have liked to tell you what I am going to tell you now. Dear Pedro, think about it carefully. First, these gentlemen [the independentistas]. If I heard from Puigdemont and the others that that was a mistake, that they screwed up and that they ask for forgiveness... But, what do these gentlemen say? "That they are going to do the same thing and that they will not rectify it."
And he continued: “I don't know, I think you are getting into complicated territory. The day after the elections, I think it was in La Sexta, I said that this was leading to new elections and that is what you have to do.”
“And, furthermore, I tell you something, Pedro. If you stand up now, let's see what they put on the tablecloth, what they ask of you. You say: 'No, we have come this far,'” he continued addressing the President of the Government. Because “the political panorama can be clarified quite a bit. The two big ones would probably raise the PSOE, quite a bit.”
Finally, looking at the camera again, Revilla made an important confession: “And now we're ready to cheer you up. If you call elections and if the Regionalists Party doesn't go, which I hope it doesn't, because the way things are with the two-party system it's difficult to get something, I would vote for you.
