Mary from Denmark confesses for the first time that she suffered from depression

"The Crown Princess of the North Sea." This is what they call Mary Donaldson, wife of Prince Frederick of Denmark, from the new television program Nature and Our Mind, which talks about the impact of nature on mental health. A topic that Princess Mary wanted to address personally, even making an unexpected revelation: she herself has suffered from depression.

This new project is also being promoted by the Danish royal house. The crown princess speaks naturally about the disease, but she also interviews three other people who have gone through similar circumstances. An unprecedented moment, which demonstrates the support that the institution is giving to the Australian, who has become an involuntary protagonist of the controversy in recent weeks.

The show premieres Thursday, November 30; and Mary Donaldson can be seen accompanied by the popular presenter Peter Qvortrup, speaking naturally about the disorders and complications derived from mental health while walking on the beach, as can be seen in the trailer shared by the Instagram account of the monarchical institution. In the documentary, however, no details are given about how or when the princess suffered from this disease.

A new public appearance in which the Danish royal house once again focuses on the crown princess and her image, separately from her husband, who continues to be the object of the fiercest criticism in his country for his "betrayal" during his getaway to Spain. and his secret meeting with the Mexican Genoveva Casanova.

Since the scandal broke, Mary Donaldson has been receiving support and encouragement from all sectors of the Nordic country. The controversial images of the walk of the first-born of Queen Margarita and the Mexican businesswoman have fallen like a bucket of cold water among citizens and related media; even more so since the publication of derived information in subsequent days that does not exactly leave the heir in a good place.

The Danish media calls this whole matter a "nightmare" for the monarchy, but apparently citizens also consider that all this was a great act of "irresponsibility" on the part of the heir, with whom they do not share his attitude, given their position in the institution.

For the moment, the Danish royal house seems to have taken action on the matter, "shielding" the crown princes to avoid further controversy. They will all spend Christmas together after many years apart, to give a semblance of normality and welcome the new year together.
