María Patiño collapses in 'Save me': "Today I went to the butcher shop for chicken and I started crying"

María Patiño has starred in a new controversy related to the Sálvame universe, after becoming, together with Lydia Lozano, the last accused by the program of returning the clothes that they lend to the team in poor condition. The collaborator of the Telecinco space began to cry when she learned everything that was being said about her and charged her own colleagues against hers.

These are not being easy days for the journalist, who, as reported exclusively by La Vanguardia, must pay a bail of 120,000 euros in one day for the case of the Antonio David Flores cartels. Although the most recent vetoes in Mediaset prevent dealing with issues like the latter, in Sálvame they have been interested in how her partner is doing and they have contacted her by phone on the afternoon of this Wednesday.

"I am trying to compose myself because I want to continue, and because I deeply believe in the program", Patiño began his speech, between sobs. The collaborator has focused on her relationship with Sálvame, committed after the recent information: "I need to be in a place in which I believe, regardless of the controversies and ways of thinking," she continued.

María Patiño has opened up and, although the telephone connection prevented her from seeing her gestures, in the end she has not been able to contain her tears. "Today I went to buy chicken at the butcher shop and I started to cry," he assured, to which Jorge Javier responded with a spontaneous comment: "Because of the price?", causing laughter from his colleagues and even from the own Patino.

Now more serious, the presenter has asked María if she is "disappointed" by everything that has happened in just a few hours. "Yesterday I felt it, and I slept badly," replied the collaborator. "This morning I wanted to recover, in the sense that I am one more colleague", she continued, without understanding how she could have fallen "so low" having lived through worse circumstances before.

"We want to let you know that the program deeply believes in you," Jorge Javier consoled his partner, who continued to cry on the phone. The Sálvame team has sent its encouragement to María Patiño to the rhythm of Don't stop dreaming, the song that has accompanied some of the journalist's most iconic speeches. "Dreams are important, but you have to work on them every day," Patiño concluded, much more motivated and receiving an ovation from the entire set.
