'Survivientes' is in charge every year of putting its contestants in the most extreme situations: lack of food, climate changes, tough physical tests... sometimes causing the medical team present on the island to intervene. This has been the case of Manuel Cortés, son of Raquel Bollo and the flamenco singer known as 'Chiquetete'.
The young man has not been able to compete in a reward test that took place this past weekend, since he suffered a mishap that required medical attention. The Sevillian had to face a test during the contest debate, when the presenter Laura Madrueño indicated that he would be replaced by Diego Pérez: "As you can see, Diego is there because Manuel is with the doctor, they are doing a medical check-up," he revealed to those present on the set, among whom was a surprised Raquel Bollo.
The presenter wanted to calm the waters by emphasizing that Cortés has not suffered anything serious: "nobody worry, everything is under control." Likewise, the presenter Ion Aramendi has intervened to reassure the young man's relatives: "Raquel, calm down because your son Manuel is fine, he is already with the others on the beach, he had an intestinal ailment, but he is already recovered", he revealed before the public.
A few minutes later, Manuel Cortés has returned with his teammates and has reassured his followers and family; Raquel Bollo's son claimed to be "a little better, I was very sorry not to be able to compete in the test with all my teammates because I really enjoy these days and just before leaving I had a pretty bad time, but thank God to the team magnificent that there is here has been solved quickly ”.
Despite suffering this hard episode, the singer is clear about one thing: he does not want to leave Honduras, and this is how he has shown it to the spectators: "I don't want to leave here even with cold water, so that's fine," said the Sevillian after being asked about his stay in 'Survivors 2023'.
The son of Raquel Bollo and 'Chiquetete' is one of the nominees of the week along with Ginés Corregüela, Jonan Wiergo and Asraf Beno, who are playing for expulsion from the Telecinco program this Thursday.
