Maluma devastated by the death of his little brother: "I will love you forever, my Prince"

Maluma has not hesitated to show on several occasions the great relationship he had with Bastian, his sponsored younger brother. "El Niño smiles", as he called him, was going through a fight against cancer, which she has not been able to overcome. A hard blow for the singer, who had not hesitated to help the little one in recent years and whose departure has left him with a "huge void that nothing and no one can fill."

"With my heart broken into pieces, I have to inform you by this means that Bastian left us from this earthly plane," with this phrase, Maluma begins to recount the loss of what he considered his real brother. Along with a photograph, the Colombian singer wanted to express to his millions of followers on Instagram the sadness he feels right now.

At just 13 years old, Bastian went from being a fan to becoming an essential figure in the singer's life. Their friendship dated back to 2021, when the little boy's personal story reached Maluma's heart. His hard battle against cancer and the economic situation that his family was going through was reason enough for the Colombian to decide to intertwine his path with Bastian's.

So much is the attachment that was generated between the two, that Maluma did not hesitate for a moment to buy a house in November of last year so that his younger brother and his family could live in the best possible way. A new home that the little fan was able to enjoy the last months of his life before saying goodbye.

In his publication, Maluma is very affected, assuring that they have been fighting until the end, but that "the best thing was a rest." If something has become clear over the years, and especially in recent months, it is that the Colombian singer considered Bastian as something much more than a sponsored brother.

"My Master, my guide, my friend, my little brother left us leaving all his teachings," says the Colombian. With this he wants to show the public that the little boy would have been an inspiration in his life and that he will surely continue to be so in the future.

"I love you, I will love you forever my Prince. See you on the road," he assures Bastian in his last words. With this he wants to say goodbye to someone who has marked his life forever.

Nor has he wanted to waste the opportunity to show his support for his little brother's family and friends. "Strength to all those who had the pleasure of meeting Bastian," says the Colombian.
