Kiko Hernández, in tears when remembering the story of her daughters with Mila Ximénez: "To heal yourself, put on glitter"

The special program for the 14th anniversary of Sálvame has become a tribute to Mila Ximénez, one of the most illustrious components in the history of the program, who passed away in 2021. The entire edition has been dedicated to her, and, of course, there have been no shortage of words of affection from those who were one day his companions.

At least for one day, the collaborators of the Telecinco program have parked their differences to go to one in memory of Mila. Some of them even had notorious clashes at the time with the protagonist of the day, as is the case of Kiko Matamoros or Kiko Hernández.

After remembering what was once called the 'axis of evil' between Ximénez and the Kikos, Jorge Javier has shown a bottle of glitter on the screen and has asked Hernández to explain its origin, although the collaborator has had a hard time not getting excited trying to tell the story. "During the pandemic, Mila spoke to me and my daughters every day," he has begun to recount.

Kiko Hernández explained that it coincided with "the time when she gets sick", in relation to the cancer that ended the life of her partner. "One day, Abril [Kiko's daughter] gets on the phone and says: 'Mila, what's wrong with you? Are you sick?' collaborator with the daughter of the journalist.

Upon hearing Mila's words, little Abril picked up a pot of glitter and told the collaborator: "Mila, to heal yourself, you have to put a little glitter on your forehead, and you're going to get well", as as Kiko has told in Save me. "Mila began to cry, she hung up, called right away, and her entire forehead was full of glitter," she told her companions, visibly moved.

Mila Ximénez assured the daughters of Kiko Hernández that she would repeat the procedure "every time" she went to a chemotherapy session to treat her cancer. "And every time she was going to give herself chemotherapy, she went with the glitter on her forehead," the story concluded without being able to hold back her tears.
