Emilio Aragón confesses who was the "girlfriend" whom he "abandoned" and waited for him and then left her again

From his beginnings on television at the age of 15 until his jump to cinema in 2008, Emilio Aragón has been a familiar face in Spanish homes. But behind the actor, director, comedian, presenter and clown, there is a man who has decided to dedicate more time to what really matters: his family. This new stage of his life has been shared with Carlos del Amor in La Matemática del Espejo, where Aragón has shown a much more personal side of his life.

One of his great passions in his television retirement, and that he has cultivated now that he is the grandfather of four grandchildren, is music. This passion is owed to both Miliki, his father, and Rita Violeta Álvarez, his mother. "There was a time in my house when two pianos were playing all the time," he said.

This relationship with music is, as he himself has described, a love story that has taken many years to come to fruition. "The piano has been my girlfriend whom at some point I abandoned and she waited for me," he revealed, and then "he left her again and she waited for me."

However, he has now firmly stated that he does not plan to walk away from music again. "Now I'm back and I'm not going to leave it," said the comedian, underlining his renewed commitment to music: "It has been fundamental for me. I don't understand life without music."

Furthermore, he has confessed that he was on the verge of never playing the piano again due to an injury, but the simple thought of that happening motivated him to fully recover and do what he really wanted: "When my tension rod broke of the thumb and they put eight nails in, I thought: I'm not going to be able to do almost an eighth. I did a recovery with a physio who specialized in hands and, fortunately, I can now do the thumb step.
