Edwin Arrieta's sister collapses in her first interview from Spain: "There are media that have not been humane with this situation"

Daniel Sancho has been in Koh Samui prison for more than a month after confessing to having killed and dismembered Colombian Edwin Arrieta. Since then he has received the sight of his mother, Silvia Bronchalo, his father, Rodolfo Sancho, and his lawyers.

For its part, the victim's family has not stopped seeking justice for the surgeon. And it was not until now that her sister, Darlin Arrieta, wanted to go to Spain in person to give her first and only live interview.

"I trust you a lot. I ask you to please take care of her in Spain because I don't know what the Spanish will do to her," were the last words that Darlin's mother expressed to a journalist from the Mañaneros program. And it is the only space she has gotten that Arrieta's sister leaves behind her fear of flying to go to a set in this country.

“I am tired, nervous and very afraid. It's the first time I give a live interview. Besides, it's not my country," Darlin Arrieta began to relate. And she wanted to show how angry she is with the Spanish media. "They have not been sensitive and humane with the situation we are experiencing as a family," she said.

"It hurt me that they said that he was a drug trafficker, diabolical, extremely dangerous and that he had this person kidnapped," Arrieta's sister wanted to make clear. In addition, she has asked for respect for the family and for the name of her brother. "I have asked for it and they still insist," she added.

Likewise, they have shown the pain they feel with the alleged acts of Daniel Sancho: "You are not satisfied with killing him because you dismember him. And you are not satisfied with the fact that you spread his parts out there. I am not even capable of killing an animal that I find dead. to do that to him."

Jaime Cantizano has not hesitated to ask Darlin Arrieta about Daniel Sancho's parents. "They are suffering. But they should remember that there are elderly parents. They can hear their son's voice again, my parents cannot," he assured.

In her interview on the La 1 program, she did not hesitate to bring with her a gift that Edwin Arrieta gave her before his murder. "I sleep every night with the rosary that my brother gave me because since then my sleep is not like before. I will no longer be able to see that my phone will not ring 'Edwin little brother' calling," he expressed through tears.

Darlin also wanted to clarify whether or not she is willing to forgive Daniel Sancho. "My pain still doesn't allow me to send him a message. Right now I don't think I can say 'I forgive you'. I'm waiting for God to heal my wounds," she made it clear.

Before finishing her testimony, the victim's sister reiterated that she believes in Thai justice and its judicial system: "I ask them to do justice, that my brother's crime does not go unpunished and that this penalty be paid in Thailand, according to Thai laws."
