Temptation Island has returned to Telecinco with the same force that it left on the screens months ago. The seventh season of the program presented by Sandra Barneda started this past Tuesday with resounding success in reception on social networks. The official tag for commenting on the first episode became the number one trend in Spain on X (Twitter), with millions of comments of all kinds during the three hours of broadcast.
As usually happens in this type of formats, opinions can be very varied. The idea of testing the fidelity of five couples, separating them and leaving them alone with singles who intend to seduce them still does not quite fit in all areas. This has been the case of Violeta Mangriñán, former participant of Mujeres y Hombres and Viceversa and also of Supervivientes, who criticized the format through her Threads profile.
“Call me strange but I don't like Temptation Island, putting on a show or laughing at the suffering of others doesn't seem like fun to me, and that is precisely what the purpose of the format has become. The strange thing is to see who comes out of there being faithful, when supposedly the purpose of the program is the opposite. Dear, if you need to test your relationship in that way, it is best that you leave it. I saw the first two editions and I had a terrible time, I think it makes less and less sense,” she said.
Despite being a comment repeated on rare occasions throughout the seven seasons broadcast, social networks have harshly criticized it for what they consider a hypocritical complaint, after Mangriñán herself exposed herself in similar ways on both reality shows. “She speaks the f**** in front of all of Spain,” a user reminded her, before her bed scene with Fabio Colloricchio in Supervivientes 2019.
“What bothers Violeta is that, with each edition of the Island, the juicy cake of advertising on social networks is divided into more portions, and she has to look for more infant merchandise,” reported one of the comments on X (Twitter ). “She has not gone to MyHyV to look for a partner, she has not gone to SV with a partner and she cheated on him in front of all of Spain. She is a saint, be like Violeta,” a user ironically commented on the influencer's history.
“Violeta turned her Survivors into Temptation Island, cheated on her boyfriend, left him live and then left,” “Her Instagram is another reality show where she explains her daughter's health and whether or not Fabio wakes up because of the nights”, “Women and Men and Vice Versa, Survivors being with her ex and returning with her current boyfriend, MTMAD Reality with both (her partner and her ex-partner), and I don't remember much else but I'm sure I left things out…” were some of those highlighted in those mentioned.
