Criticism of Kevin Costner's ex-wife for her bag of almost 5,000 euros after asking the judge for more pension for their children

Kevin Costner is one of the most recognized actors in Hollywood. The American interpreter, winner of two Oscars and a Golden Globe, has had to face a controversy in recent hours involving his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner, who has been seen wearing an exclusive bag from a renowned haute couture house as just weeks after filing for higher support.

Baumgartner was seen in Santa Barbara (California) this Friday. It was her bag that caught the attention of many, since it was a Prada model in somber tones on her arm. The actor's ex-wife, who had been in a relationship with him for 18 years, paired the weathered white leather bag, which sells for around $4,800, with a colorful tank top, blue jeans and Birkenstock sandals. A very casual and expensive outfit that he has surprised, because he was dissatisfied with the pension of 117,862 euros that the judge awarded that the actor should pay him monthly.

The images of Christine come to light a few days after she moved out of her shared house with Costner, 68, after their divorce was made official. Page Six explains that Baumgartner has moved into a "smaller house" on the actor's property after a judge ordered him to leave by July 31. "Christine is following the legal advice of the prenuptial agreement and is moving out of the family home," a source told People. "She would stay in a smaller house on the property that has been used as staff quarters," she said.

The source assured the aforementioned medium that this "is a temporary solution" and that she "is still looking for another house." Apparently, the ex-partner of the Hidden Figures actor would have thought of the best for her children in common with the actor. "She stays in the area so as not to interrupt the lives of the children," the source told the outlet at the time. "They will return to school in the fall with her friends. Christine is trying to keep everything as normal as possible. Her only goal is the children," she stated.

Baumgartner and the movie star married in 2004, they have three children together: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. Since Baumgartner filed for divorce in May, after 18 years of marriage, she and her ex-husband have been involved in a complex court battle. A judge ruled that the interpreter of The Bodyguard had to pay his wife $129,755 a month in child support, although Christine originally asked the court to make it 248. On the other hand, she was also ordered to cover $200 in attorney fees and 100 in forensic costs.

But the legal battle did not end here. The judge also ruled that both parties had to abide by the terms of their 2004 prenup, meaning Baumgartner had to find another place to live. He looks like he's finally done it. Now, the actor's ex-wife is facing criticism for dressing with expensive accessories just weeks after asking for a higher pension from the father of her children.
